Sydnie Saunders is a licensed associate marriage family therapist. She is highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of mental health conditions in couples and families. She specializes in working with the families of children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Sydnie grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. She has always been passionate about the importance of mental health and has witnessed first-hand the profound effects of good therapy. As Sydnie explored the different ways in which she could become a therapist, she fell in love with the systemic, relationship-centered perspective that many marriage and family therapists embrace. Sydnie completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, UT where she worked as a therapist at the BYU Comprehensive Clinic.
When Sydnie is not seeing clients, reading a therapy book, or sleeping, she loves to spend time with her husband and their lucky black cat, Luna. Sydnie tries to take any opportunity she can get to soak up the sun outdoors where she loves to explore the beautiful Utah nature. A lover of the arts, Sydnie can also be found singing, dancing, and going to see different theatrical productions throughout the country.
