Dr. Sarah Homer is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of mental health conditions in children and adolescents. Dr. Homer has been practicing primary care for 7 years in Utah County and has a special interest in pediatric behavioral health. She is an active member of the Utah Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Homer grew up in Utah, but various work experiences have also taken her to Boston, MA and Albuquerque, NM. Her interest in effective mental health treatment grew as she worked in primary care settings and felt that she was not allowed sufficient time to truly understand and help her patients. Now at Bristol Health, Dr. Homer is able to spend quality time with each of her patients and strives to deliver them the quality help they need. She is also passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles choices. These include habits like nutritious eating, physical exercise, creativity, and getting sufficient sleep. Dr. Homer loves working with children and helping them succeed in all important areas of their lives.
When Dr. Homer isn’t at work, she relishes spending time with her husband and kids. She loves being in the outdoors. Whether it’s running, hiking or gardening, as long as she is outside she’s happy. Dr. Homer is also a big fan of continual learning and finds many of her best treatment insights and recommendations for her patients from the outstanding books she reads.
