Samantha Allan is a Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of mental health conditions in adolescents and adults. Samantha became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2013. She graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2016. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University in 2020.
Samantha grew up in Highland Utah, and became interested in nursing when she was a senior in highschool. As an LPN she worked at Thinique Medical Weight Loss Clinic caring for patients who struggled with obesity and concurrent mental health challenges. In 2015, she further honed her interests in psychiatric nursing by accepting a position at the Utah State Hospital (USH) as a Registered Nurse. In 2018, Samantha became the Nursing Director of the Geropsychiatric unit at USH. In this capacity, she coordinated the care of patients’ complex medical and psychiatric needs. Samantha places symptoms into a multigenerational context where family history, current lifestyle, and social factors are considered. From this systemic vantage point, individuals can heal, and lives can change.
Samantha is dedicated to providing exceptional care for adolescents and adults. She is excited to bring her unique experience and devotion to patient care to Bristol Health. When not at work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and interior design.
