Maxwell Mount is a licensed therapist, skilled in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders and ineffective patterns of thinking and behaviors.  His specialty is helping people sort trauma response from social patterning; allowing clients to make the discoveries that allow them to chart their path toward self control and empowerment through reconfiguring the biological or social impacts that have kept them from being their own best selves.

Prior to joining the Bristol team, Max's experience was gained in mental health hospitals as well as long-term treatment facilities.  This combination allowed him to develop approaches that bridge both the short and long term perspective of treatment from the needs of acute stabilization to the planning and execution of long term wellness.  Max's first career in education and drama, also helps his clients to gain a functional understanding of the biological and behavioral aspects of behavior patterns and model approaches toward change-thinking strategies which utilize safe controlled drama therapy.  It was this kind of experiential technique that first brought Max into the formal world of therapy after helping locked in trauma survivors find a voice for their experiences and make steps toward recovery.

As a husband, father, son, grandfather and brother from the great city of Chicago, Max loves taking advantage of all the outdoor opportunities that Utah has to offer.  A life-long outdoor adventurer, it is not surprising to see him conducting sessions on a hike, slopes or just sitting with nature at the waters' edge, in order to help people re-discover their healthy connection to the world around them.

Max is comfortable treating people from 14-64 and specializes in trauma recovery, family / marital dynamics, addictions, life transitions and early return or re-adjusting missionaries.

Just to see how many people read this email ;). First person to message Brandon in teams receives a $5 gift card to Starbucks…no joke.
