LeAnna Hansen is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), who received her masters in social work at the University of Utah. She is skilled in helping her clients heal specifically from trauma and childhood wounds that cause anxiety, depression, OCD and relationship issues. She uses EMDR and emotionally focused therapy to help her clients thrive.
After a fulfilling experience working with adolescents in a treatment center, LeAnna became passionate about witnessing people healing from trauma and helping people feel empowered and able to utilize their self-efficacy to better their lives. She has worked with substance abuse disorders, unwanted sexual behaviors, betrayal trauma, families in distress and conflict, couples wanting to repair relationships, and individuals healing from chronic to subacute traumas.
LeAnna loves to hang out with her family, especially her grandkids. Any activity that is outdoors brings her joy. She has recently discovered her green thumb and enjoys gardening. Service work is important to LeAnna who finds opportunities to work with communities across the world by creating custom programs in partnership with the local community to help improve their quality of life.
